      Description

      Remarkable Engine Boost. Maximize your Mustang’s engine power by letting it breathe more efficiently thanks to the K&N Series 69 Typhoon Cold Air Intake. This Typhoon Cold Air Intake facilitates the cooler, oxygen-rich air to fill your combustion chamber for an optimized air-fuel mixture. The resulting enhanced airflow delivers significant improvement in torque, throttle response, and an increase of 16 horsepower at 7000 RPMs.

      No Tune Required. This Series 69 Typhoon Cold Air Intake does not require reprogramming of your Mustang’s computer. With advanced engineering, this intake system boosts engine power using the factory tune. AmericanMuscle, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram your ECU to get the best possible performance from this intake.

      Performance Air Filter. The air filter included in this Intake Kit is designed for an excellent filtration capacity with its layered cotton media. It features a pleated style for efficient dust holding capacity and an optimum size for enhanced air dynamics.

      High-Quality Construction. This Typhoon Cold Air Intake system is built to withstand high heat stress and various mechanical impacts with its durable black cross-linked polyethylene housing construction. It delivers the most efficient airflow with its free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tubing. A tough heat shield is also included to enhance the cooler air inflow while keeping the hotter surrounding air from getting into the system.

      Direct-Fit Installation. This cold air intake is designed as a direct-fit replacement to your stock intake system. It reuses factory mounting points and installs in about an hour using basic hand tools. K&N’s engineering ensures seamless OEM fitment as this intake system integrates perfectly well with your vehicle’s other components.

      Limited Warranty. The K&N Air Filter and Intake System come with a limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty lasts for 10 years or a million miles, whichever comes first, from the date the product was purchased. Some exclusions and limitations may apply.       Not CARB Certified. This Typhoon Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time. It is not legal for sale or use in California or other states adopting California's strict emission standards.
