Installation Instructions
1: Remove strut tower brace by removing inside lug nuts (13mm socket) and loosen outside nuts.
2: Remove wheels.
3: Disconnect sway bar (10mm).
4: Take brake line of the back by removing bolt (13mm) that holds the brake line to the bracket (on the back) and remove clip for ABS line.
5: Remove the two retaining nuts that hold the spindle to the strut (18mm deep socket on the nut and the open end 18mm wrench on the back) use jack stand to support the spindle while removing bolts, lower it once completed.
6: Now remove outer bolts from the strut top and remove the strut from the car.
**If installing aftermarket springs and strut mounts skip to step 9**
7: Remove Spring from strut assembly by clamping spring compressor to the spring and tightening it until the spring no longer is compressed against the strut.
8: Remove strut nut and strut mount 21mm socket, slide factory strut out of the springs remove compressor from stock springs unless you are planning to reuse the stock springs.
9: Slide spring on to Koni Strut and position the end of the coil properly against the top of the strut.
10: Attach strut mount via strut nut with an air impact gun or ratchet with a 23mm socket (properly position spring against groove in the strut mount).
11: Reattach strut via top bolts (just enough to hold in place).
12: Reattach retaining nuts that attach spindle to the strut with air impact gun or ratchet with a 21mm socket 165ft/lbs TQ.
14: Reinstall bolt for the brake hose bracket.
15: Reinstall clip for abs line.
16: Reinstall sway bar.
17: Reattach your wheel.
18: Retighten top strut bolts (outside) and reattach strut tower brace (if applicable) 26 ft/lbs TQ.
