This kit is designed to lower your ’87 to ‘93 Mustang convertible by an average of 1.7 inches giving your vehicle that classic muscle-car stance. What’s more, this kit includes KONI front struts and rear shocks that all feature on-vehicle damping adjustability. This feature allows you to fine-tune your damper set-up to deliver OEM-quality ride comfort or a sportier handling feel.
Brawny Eibach Lowering Springs. Your Fox-body Mustang’s new lowered stance is courtesy of a pair of Eibach front and rear lowering springs. These springs are precision-fabricated from high-grade spring steel and are finished in a durable black powder coating for durability and corrosion resistance. More importantly, these springs feature a progressive spring design for a superior ride quality that doesn’t skimp on performance.
Hefty Build Quality. The included KONI dampers’ shock bodies are constructed using high-grade alloy for exceptional durability. Additionally, this construction promotes efficient heat dissipation for consistent performance. Likewise, these dampers utilize impact damage-resistant hardened steel piston rods. Lastly, these front struts and rear shocks are finished in a rugged yellow powder coating for stylish looks and superior corrosion protection.
Professional Installation Recommended. The lowering springs will require the use of a spring compressor to properly install into your vehicle. Also, experience using this tool is a must as improper use can be potentially hazardous. As such, professional installation is recommended.
