    Description

    Serious Header Performance Excellence. The Kooks Headers 1-3/4” x 3” Mustang headers put real racing excellence under the hood of your Mach 1 or Cobra. This is the same industry-leading technology trusted by competitors in the USA’s biggest racing series. They don’t just sound amazing, they give you more extra power than any of the competing headers.

    Real Race Sound. If it’s good enough for the NHRA and NASCAR, it’s got to sound great bolted up to your Ford 4.6L V8. The exact sound character might change a bit depending on what you run from the headers-back but you’re still starting with excellence.

    Deletes Stock Cats. These Mustang Headers have to be used together with an X-Pipe from Kooks. Kooks even supplies X-Pipes with the ultimate high-flow cat design for reduced emissions and maximum power.

    Aircraft-Grade T304 Stainless-Steel. The Kooks 1.75” x 3” Headers are made from the highest grade of stainless steel. Kooks laser cuts the flanges from 3/8” stainless steel for maximum strength.

    Tuning Required. To get the most out of these Kooks Headers, you’ll have to get your ECU recalibrated. The included 02 sensor extension harness ensures all fueling data is acquired. EGR included for optimum running.

    Not CARB Certified. The headers are not CARB certified. They may not be sold, installed, or used in California.

    Application. The 1-3/4” x 3" Long Tube Headers fit the Mustang Mach 1 and Cobra from 1996 to 2004.
