Description
Aggressive Exhaust Note. Add an aggressive tone to the sound of your Camaro's exhaust with a Kooks 3-Inch GREEN Catted Header-Back Exhaust System. This Header-Back Exhaust features specially tuned oval race mufflers that will produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration, but a mellow tone at idle. Besides an increase in sound, this Kooks Header-Back, with its full mandrel bent piping, will reduce restrictions giving your Camaro a more free-flowing exhaust for gains in both power and performance.
Green Catalytic Converters. GreenCats are Kooks ultra high performance green catalytic converters. Kooks specifically designed these Catalytic Converters to meet stringent EPA Federal Emissions Standards. Able to handle exhaust temperatures of up to 1500F, these GreenCats work exceptionally well on both force inducted and naturally aspirated Camaros. GreenCats have a 90% success rate of eliminating emission related "Check Engine Light" issues.
Stainless Steel Construction. This Kook's Header-Back Exhaust System is proudly manufactured in the USA from 3-inch diameter, mandrel-bent, aircraft quality T-304 stainless steel tubing for excellent exhaust flow and corrosion resistance. Besides the included catalytic converters and crossover X-pipe, this system features a pair of Kooks oval race mufflers that end with 4-inch, polished stainless steel exhaust tips.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. Kook's engineered this Header-Back Exhaust to be a direct bolt-on upgrade for use with their Long Tube Headers. This Exhaust System will easily mount in the stock location with no cutting or extra modifications required. Installation of this Header-Back can be completed in about two to three hours with just basic hand tools. This Header-Back will reuse the existing factory hangers for installation.
Application. This Kooks 3-Inch GREEN Catted Header-Back Exhaust with Polished Tips is designed to fit 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS models equipped with Kooks Long Tube Headers.
Kooks GREEN Catted products are rated for forced induction applications making up to 750 RHWP and are built to EPA specifications.

Kooks Quality!
Obviously, this exhaust setup is not cheap. However, it is one of the highest quality mid sections I have seen. The different sections slip in nicely. Even the clamps that come with are the best I have ever seen. They really clamp and seal when you torque to spec. Zero modification required. Super easy to install.

Did the complete exhaust and it’s an awesome sound then had the ss Dyno tuned and we got 60 more ponies at the rear wheels and that you can feel.

2013 ZL1 - EatsEggs
Exceptional sound and quality for the ZL1
Had these installed on a 2013 Camaro ZL1 6 speed manual. The car had SLP long tube headers, it was straight piped and no mufflers. Literally the loudest thing I've ever heard. I bought these to replace the straight pipes. It sounds much more tolerable but still quite aggressive. I felt no loss of power installing these as opposed to the straight pipes that were on there. The quality is what you would expect from Kooks... top notch and of course American Muscle is always on the ball in terms of shipping and service. I've been a customer of theirs for over a decade.

Fit perfectly. Took about about 4-5 hours to install. Connects to OEM catback exhaust with no problems. Sounds amazing. Huge sound difference from the stock headers and cats. No check engine came on after the install but heard one can appear.

Just what she needed to make the Borla S come alive
I removed the Magnaflow and opted for the Borla S with Kooks headers. the sound is a quiet rumble which comes alive when you get on it...Just what I was looking for. More toward the old muscle car sound whith a little extra.

love them! kooks quality and fitment is second to none
I was worried about fitment so that's why i went with the kooks and im glad i did ! they fit sooo good and the install only took me like 4 hours and that's with taking my time! and also they sound freaking amazing would 100% recommend them to anyone wanting to upgrade to long tube headers. i did get a custom tune directly after install through dsp performance and it really made the car come alive. Defiantly the best mod you can do besides maybe a cam which is coming next for me !

Get these if you have a set of long tube headers. Regular bolts will eventually come loose. These stay in forever.
