Enhanced Traction and Superb Performance. A good drag shock needs to provide the optimal weight transfer for your initial launch while keeping your vehicle’s rear end loaded for higher traction. You get that plus a faster front-end descent with the Lakewood 50/50 Rear Drag Shock. Though this shock is made for drag applications, it’s also safe to use for street applications. Versatile and tough, it turns your Mustang into a drag machine.
Superb Construction Quality. With its twin-tube design, this drag shock provides enhanced performance compared to stock shocks. It has a chrome-plated piston rod that resists corrosion and offers superb longevity. Polyurethane bushings keep the shock stable during drag applications, with the rubber travel indicator ensuring the shock performs to its full capacity.
Direct Installation. The Lakewood 50/50 Rear Drag Shock is designed as a direct replacement for your vehicle’s stock rear shocks. You should be able to install the shock using standard hand tools, but you’ll need a jack to raise your vehicle so you can access your stock shocks.
Covered for 90 Days. Lakewood backs this shock with a 90-day warranty that applies to the original purchaser. This warranty guards against material and workmanship defects as long as the shock is used for its intended purpose. Misuse and neglect void the warranty.
Application. The Lakewood 50/50 Rear Drag Shock is ideal for drag applications. It installs into the 2005-2014 versions of the Ford Mustang.
