How to Install a MAC Axle-Back Exhaust on Your 2005-2009 Mustang V6

1. Start By loosening the exhaust clamp on the stock muffler to the over the axle pipe.
2. Using a 15mm socket and ratchet, loosen the exhaust clamp on the stock Y-pipe to the cat back system.
3. Using a flat head screw driver, pry the clip away from the exhaust pipe and slide the exhaust clamp back towards the muffler.
4. Next remove the stock muffler from the rubber hangers by pushing it towards the front of the car. Next remove the stock muffler from the exhaust pipe.
5. Install the MAC muffler in the stock location to the stock rubber hangers.
6. Install the exhaust clamp to the MAC muffler and connect the stock exhaust pipe to the muffler. Note: Do not tighten the exhaust clamp.
7. Reconnect the stock exhaust pipe to the Y-pipe and slide the exhaust clamp back on to the Y-pipe and tighten.
8. Next align the MAC muffler and tighten the exhaust clamp.
9. Start the vehicle and check for any leaks.
