Hey, I'm Justin with AmericanMuscle.com. I'm checking out the new 551C wheels from MMD, fitting all 2005 to 2014 Mustangs, available in your choice of either silver, charcoal, or matte black. AS you can see, the 551C features that modern flat, five-spoke, concave design that has become wildly popular with the S197 crowd as of late. As I mentioned at the beginning of this video, you do have a few different choices when it comes to color. Project MMD behind me is sporting the charcoal 551C's while our project Coyote 2014 GT is sporting the matte black version. Finally, our 2005 V6 on the dynojet is rocking the MMD wheels in silver. Sizing-wise the 551C wheels are offered in both 19 and 20-inch diameters and widths of 8 1/2 and 10 inches. Now as I mentioned in all of our wheels vids, the different widths do give you a couple of different options. For one, you can go with the tried and true staggered fitment, and stick a wider wheel and tire in the rear like project MMD. Or if you want you can go with a square or standard fitment, meaning you have the same width, wheel and tire on all four corners, and it does give you the ability to rotate those tires in the future. The MMD wheels are available separately if you'd like, however if you're going to need some new rubber to go along with these new wheels, why don't let us do all of the work for you? Installing a new set of wheels and tires onto your ride has to be one of the easier mods to tackle, and can be accomplished in about an hour using some basic hand tools. You want to first crack the lugs loose on the ground, before you jack the car up. Once the car's in the air, go ahead and swap out all four wheels and tires, tighten those lugs, and you should be good to go.
