Read all instructions before beginning work. Following instructions in the proper sequence will ensure the best and easiest installation.

Thank you for purchasing the Maximum Motorsports Master Cylinder Adapter Kit. This kit is intended for use in vehicles that have been re-plumbed to a standard 3/16" diameter brake line. The MMBAK-5.2 kit will adapt the stock 1987-93 master cylinder ports for use with the standard 3/8-24 threads found on 3/ 16" brake line.

1.  Place the larger, 12mm adapter into the front port of the master cylinder and tighten to 12-16 ft-lbs.

2.  Place the remaining two smaller, 10mm adapters into the two rear ports of the master cylinder and tighten to 12-16 ft-lbs.  One port is located on the inner side of the master cylinder, and the other port is located on the underside of the master cylinder.

3. Connect the 3/16" brake line of the rear brake system to the forward port of the master cylinder.

4.   Connect the 3/16" brake lines of the front brake system to the two rearward ports of the master cylinder.  We recommend connecting the passenger side caliper to one port and the driver side caliper to the remaining port.

5.  Bleed the brakes in the order shown below and check all fittings for leaks.

NOTE: If you are unfamiliar with brake bleeding techniques, consult a service manual for further information on bleeding air from the brake system.

NOTE: New master cylinders should always be bench bled before installation.
