Description
Don't Be Denied. Mustang enthusiasts and clubs frequently participate in track days at local tracks, but, in order to have real fun, drivers have to have cars that have chassis-based roll bars installed on their 2005-2014 Ford Mustang Coupes. You won't be denied on track day if you've installed the Maximum Motorsports 4-Point Sport Roll Bar on your Mustang. While the roll bar isn't welded in, the mounting technique is nearly as robust. A removable harness mount allows you to install your favorite 5-point harness, and the lack of door bars makes it easy to get in and out of your car when you aren't racing.
Heavy-Duty Construction. The highest quality 1 ¾ in. diameter by 0.134 in. wall drawn-over-mandrel (DOM) tube is used in the construction of this roll bar, which is superior in strength than the typical roll bar tubing. It is designed to fit within the stock Mustang interior. Mounting pads with backup plates sandwich the unibody for secure mounting. All the hardware is at least Grade 5.
Bolt-On Installation. This roll bar is designed to be bolted onto the chassis, so no welding or cutting is necessary. The installation is an involved process, so it is recommended that you attempt it only if you are experienced. Any powder coating or other finish should be applied to the roll bar and components before installation. Padding should be added to the roll bar at any point a human body could come in contact with it, not just the driver area.
No Warranty. Maximum Motorsports doesn't offer a warranty on this roll bar because it is considered an off-road or competition-use part, which are sold “as-is.”
Application. The Maximum Motorsports 4-Point Sport Roll Bar fits 2005-2014 Ford Mustang Coupes without the optional glass roof.
