      Description

      Augments Damping Capacity. The Maximum Motorsports Racing Rear Upper Shock Mount provides effective mounting of the shock to the chassis in your Ford Mustang. It augments the overall damping capacity with the innovative vertical deflection.

      Durable Aluminum. The block is made with heavy-duty aluminum. The durable spherical bearing is PTFE-lined. The bearings ensure immediate damping from the shock during movement of the suspension. Damping won’t occur over smaller bumps due to the compliant upper mount that bends steeply prior to shock movement. The spherical washers are innovatively designed to fit the bend of the shock tower in your Mustang. 

      Simple Installation. The installation of the upper shock mount is designed to have a basic installation process. The durable aluminum block mounts securely to the chassis. All mounting hardware is included. Basic mechanical knowledge is necessary to complete the installation.    

      Application. The Maximum Motorsports Racing Rear Upper Shock Mount is designed to fit all 1979-2004 Ford Mustang models, excluding 1999-2004 Cobra models. One kit fits one shock so two kits are needed for your Mustang. The installation of the upper shock mount transmits increased noise in to the passenger compartment. Installation is easily reversible. The mount is suggested for use only in race cars.
