        Description

        Perfect for Rear Suspension Projects. The Maximum Motorsports Rear Coil-Over Spring is designed for rear coil-over suspension conversion projects. It can provide the most bump travel possible and more deflection when compressed. These qualities make this spring an excellent choice for your coil-over conversion whether your Mustang runs on the street, strip, or track.

        High-Performance Design. The unique barrel-shape increases the radial distance between the spring and the threads on the rear shock. This helps to prevent the spring from rubbing on the threads which is a common issue for straight springs. Additionally, the barrel shape allows for more overall travel than the conventional straight spring and helps protect against coil-binding when installed in a heavy Mustang.

        High-Quality Construction. The spring is designed and manufactured according to Maximum Motorsport’s exacting specifications. It’s lightweight and durable because it’s made from the highest-quality chrome silicon wire available.

        Direct Fit Installation. The Rear Coil-Over Spring is application specific and will not require any additional fabrication. Note that this product is sold individually and should be installed with the coil-over suspension kit.

        Application. The Maximum Motorsports Rear Coil-over Spring with 175 lb/in spring rate is designed for use with 1979 to 2004 Ford Mustang models.

        Please Note. This rear Coil-Over Spring is Designed for use with rear Coil-Over Conversions only, it is NOT designed for stock applications. Longer than stock springs due to softer spring rate.
