Ideal for Rear Suspension Tune-Ups. The Maximum Motorsports Rear Coil-Over Spring is a must-have for certain coil-over suspension conversion projects. It provides the most bump travel possible for some extra deflection under compression. This makes it a great all-around part whether you’ll be driving on the street, strip, or track.
Built for High-Performance. This spring’s unique barrel-shape provides some extra radial distance between the spring and rear shock’s threads. As a result, the spring will rub the threads much less, which is a common issue for straight springs. What’s more, this shape allows for more overall travel conventional straight spring shapes, minimizing the amount of coil-binding when in a loaded Mustang.
Tough Construction. Each spring is designed and manufactured according to Maximum Motorsport’s high standards. Because it’s made from the highest-quality chrome silicon wire available, it’s guaranteed to be both strong and lightweight.
Convenient Installation. The Rear Coil-Over Spring is will not require any additional vehicle modification for a complete installation. But note that this product is sold individually and should be installed with the coil-over suspension kit.
Application. The Maximum Motorsports Rear Coil-Over Spring with 200 lb/in spring rate is designed for use with all 1979 to 2004 Ford Mustang models. Rear Coil-over Suspension Kits are sold separately.
