Balanced Handling. There are two instances where you will need the Maximum Motorsports Road & Track High-Rate and Torque-Arm Rear Springs. First is with the installation of a torque-arm suspension, and second if a moderate-rate front-coilovers are in use. In these instances, the factory springs would be woefully inadequate and cause imbalanced handling. Once installed, you can feel the difference when you drive either on the road or on the track.
Better Design. These springs were designed with the collaboration of a major spring manufacturer. They’re designed to provide a combination of aggressive stance, performance, and ride quality that the stock springs cannot match.
Straightforward Installation. The High-Rate and Torque-Arm Rear Springs are direct fit replacement upgrades for your stock springs. When used with new coilovers, Maximum Motorsport Snubbers are required. When used with rear torque-arm suspension systems, Maximum Motorsports Torque-Arms should be used.
Application. The Maximum Motorsports Road & Track High-Rate and Torque-Arm Rear Springs are designed for use with all 1979 to 2004 Ford Mustang, excluding 1999 to 2004 Cobra models. Maximum Motorsports spring isolators, snubbers, and torque-arms are sold separately.
