Description
Racing Pedigree. Mustangs have always been an excellent platform to modify to go faster and perform better both on the street and on the track. A big factor of performing better is the way your suspension is modified to give you the best grip and handling possible. The folks at Maximum Motorsports know how to improve your suspension with the Maximum Motorsports Road & Track Suspension System. This system was tested on a Mustang by Motor Trend Magazine in December of 1998 and to this day that Mustang's performance numbers are still near the op of the all time slalom speed list.
Superior Quality Components. Everything is here that you will need to transform your Mustang into a corner-shredding monster. The high quality springs for front and rear will lower your Mustang to start. These are supported by the Bilstein struts and shocks. The adjustable castor/camber plates will allow you to dial in your suspension to suit your style. Wheel hop is reduced by the rear lower control arms and improved cornering comes courtesy of the panhard bar that is included. All that feedback going through the corners is transmitted through the new solid steering shaft and rack bushings. Bracing for the chassis increases rigidity and urethane bushings improve responses.
Installation Notes. If you want to keep your suspension in the stock style but get the most out of it then you have chosen the right system. This is a complete system that is designed specifically for your Mustang. A mechanic's set of tools will get this job done along with your knowledge of your Mustang and suspensions in general. If you are not comfortable working on your suspension it is recommended that you take this kit to a professional to have the job done.
