Address An Ineffective PCV System. Even at stock power levels, your Charger’s weak factory PCV valve can take in oil vapor, sending it through the PCV system and into the intact tract where it can quickly make a mess of the intake manifold and forced induction system (if equipped). Not only does oil vapor make a mess, but it can also dilute the octane level in your Charger’s cylinders, leading to pre-detonation or “spark knock.” This condition is both irritating and potentially dangerous and should be addressed immediately.
