Although reprogramming of your vehicle's computer (ECU) is not required, we recommend a custom tune to provide the maximum performance results with the upgrade.

High-Flow Filter. A Mishimoto High-Flow Oiled Air Filter comes in this Cold Air Intake Kit. It pulls in maximum airflow and filters out performance-restricting particles for cleaner air - and more of it. Plus, this air filter is re-usable; simply remove, wash, and re-oil it to use again and again.

Powder-Coated Airbox. This Mustang GT Cold Air Intake has a strong steel airbox that prevents unwanted hot air from reaching the air filter, making achieving the desired cooler air easier. The black powder-coated finish provides superior durability for long-lasting great looks.

Glass-Reinforced MAF Housing. Mishimoto molds a glass-reinforced nylon MAF sensor housing from a plastic-injected silicone mold. The heat-resistant housing has a superior wire-reinforced silicone elbow with precise CNC billet fittings. Choose from red, blue, or black for the elbow.

Easily Bolts On. Mishimoto uses a direct-fit design for this Performance Cold Air Intake to simplify the installation and includes all necessary hardware. It bolts on in place of the stock system and requires only simple hand tools.
