How to Install Mishimoto Silicone Induction Hose - Black (15-17 GT) on your Ford Mustang

Removing the Sound Generator Hose

(I removed only the front half of the sound tube)

1) At intake side, take pliers and squeeze clip while pulling the hose off


2) At other end by strut tower remove clamp at beginning of cone shaped piece with pliers


3) Remove the Sound Tube


4) attach blowfish cap with clap (if you purchased)


Induction Tube Installation

1) Remove the engine cover attached by 4 pegs by lifting straight up.

2) Remove the front hose from intake by depressing black tab and pulling off


3) Remove the rear hose form intake by depressing black tab and pulling off


4) Remove the crank breather hose just below rear hose by releasing the grey tab and removing


5) Remove the stock intake by loosing the two clamps located at the throttle body and air box with a screw driver.


6) Get your Mishimoto Induction Tube and slide the smaller clamp over the throttle body side of the tube (shorter side), the slide the larger clamp over the air box side of tube (longer side)


7) Now install Induction tube over throttle body side first then attached to air box side to look like this and tighten the screws


8) Reattached the crankcase breather hose to tube first by pushing grey clip to side and sliding on until it clips into place 


9) Connect the rear hose to the induction hose by depressing the black tab


10) Connect the front hose to the induction hose by depressing the black tab


11) Reinstall engine cove by pushing grommets into holes on the intake manifold

Double check all connections and start her up to give her a ride.
