**NOTE: Convertibles with stock spoilers will still require drilling.
Using the provided drill template. Remove the center adhesive backing. Place the adhesive side on the spoiler, centering it over the bolt hole.
Repeat this step for each of the (4) mounting holes.
To remove the interior decklid cover panel, remove the (9) push pins and unscrew the (2) rubber bumpers. Manipulate the cover around the latch to remove it from the vehicle. Then remove the deck lid plugs located top left and right of the panel.
Test fit the spoiler, center it on the back edge of the deck lid. Securely tape the templates to the deck lid where they lay. Carefully remove the spoiler from the templates. **Note: This is the most important step to ensure the the holes are drilled in the correct location.
Once the spoiler is removed, carefully drill the center of the template holes. Finish with a 7/32 drill bit. **Note: Use touch up paint to cover any exposed metal to prevent rusting.
Place the supplied foam pads over the mounting holes on the spoiler. Trim as needed.
Prepare the deck lid by cleaning it with the supplied alcohol wipe.
Peel back the first two inches of the tape backing from each end of the tape strips. **Note: Do not peel the tape back all the way off just yet.
With a helper, start each of the (4) screws to hold the spoiler in place. Once the spoiler is loosely mounted, peel the tape backing off as see above. Then tighten the screws the rest of the way.
Apply firm even pressure to taped surfaced to ensure proper adhesion.
