MMD Downforce Rear Spoiler (10-14 All)

STEP 1. 

Begin by removing the deck lid liner, use a panel removal tool to remove the plastic clips.

STEP 2.

Remove the (4) factory spoiler fasteners and remove it from from car. **Note: An extra set of hands is very helpful when removing the spoiler. 

STEP 3.

Unscrew the 3 plastic Phillips screws to remove the 3rd brake light.

STEP 4. 

Loosely install the spoiler using the standard 4 mounting points. Align the supplied template with the base of the center most mounting bracket. Tape the edges of the template as seen above so that the template remains in place when the spoiler is removed. Then remove the spoiler. 

STEP 5.

Using the template as a guide, drill a pilot hole, finishing with a 3/8 in” diameter hole. Remove any burrs using a file. **Note: It is recommended that you apply paint to any bare metal around the hole to prevent corrosion. 

STEP 6.

Install the provided plug by centering it over the deck lid hole, tighten the provided nut. Then install the spoiler using the provided hardware.
