How to Install MMD Hood Vent Scoops - Pre-Painted on your Mustang

Remove the hood liner push pins and hold back the liner to gain access to the factory hood vent mounting nuts.

Optional: Tape off the hood vent (inside the dashed white lines above) and apply a black removal paint such as plasti-dip. This will prevent the body color to show through the vent opening. It is recommended that you apply 4-5 medium coats for ease of future removal. 

Install the supplied clip stud to the underside of the Hood Vent Scoop

Test fit the Vent Scoop. Then remove the 3M tape backing from the mounting lip.

Apply downward pressure on the rear of the Vent so that the lip slides under the edge of the hood, then secure with the supplied washers and nuts.
