How to Install MMD Radiator Extension Covers on your Mustang

Begin by using a flat head screwdriver to carefully remove the outer radiator shroud push clip. Then carefully remove the (2) cable retaining clips on the hood latch cable. These will be left loose.

Thoroughly clean the upper frame rails with soap and water. Once completely dry, wipe the section of the frame rail with the stamped numbers with the supplied alcohol wipes. Once dry, apply the supplied adhesion promoter. Allow the promoter time to haze dry.

Test fit the part before removing the tape backing from the 3M Dual Lock. Do not install the clips at this time.

Remove the 3M Dual Lock Tape backing, posistion the cover, and install the push pins. Apply firm even pressure to the taped locations to ensure proper adhesion. **Note: The larger push clip is used on the rear hole. The smaller push clip is used on front hole.
