Be sure to use the alcohol prep pads and 3M adhe sion promoter pads as instructed.
Use cau on centering the spoiler once the red backing is removed, the 3M tape can be very s cky
Step 1
Open Trunk and locate the factory spoiler mounting bolts.
-99-00 Remove the outer 2 nuts on either side
-01-04 remove the inner 2 nuts on either side.
Then Remove the Factory spoiler.
Step 2
Thoroughly Clean both painted surfaces to remove and dirt, grease, and wax. Prep the new Spoiler with the alcohol prep, and then the 3M Adhesion Promoter
Step 3
Apply the supplied tape to the corresponding red outlined arears below
Step 4
Remove the 3M red backing tape. Center the spoiler so that the bolt holes line up correctly.
Step 5
Center the spoiler so that the bolt holes line up correctly. Install with the supplied hardware.
Note: 99-00 will only use the 3M tape to secure the spoiler to the deck lid.
01-04 will use the rearward most mounting holes
Step 6
Remove the red backing from the plugs and firmly press them into any exposed holes.
Note:
99-00 will 6 01-04 will use 2
