How to Install Modern Billet GT350 Style Shift Knob - Direct Fit - Black (15-19 GT, EcoBoost, V6) on your Ford Mustang

1. Start by turning the existing shift knob counter-clockwise. This might take a bit of muscle to get going.

2. Once the existing shift knob is removed, install the retaining nut.

3. Install the GT350 Style Shift Knob. At this point, it may not line up correctly; if this is the case, remove the GT350 Style Shift Knob.

4. Loosen the retaining nut by turning it counter-clockwise. It took me roughly half a turn to align it correctly; however, individual mileage may vary and this may take several attempts.

5. Reinstall the GT350 Style Shift Knob. If the retaining nut was loosened enough, it should now line up correctly. If so, you can now enjoy your GT350 Style shift knob. If not, loosen it some more and try again.
