Omar’s story begins after entering every week for about 7-8 months for our 2017 Raptor & 850+ HP Mustang GT giveaway that we ran last year. “The day they announced the winners I was at work waiting all day for the 5 names to be announced, and of course I didn't win because I never win anything. However right after the announcement was made I got on the AmericanMuscle website and saw they had a sweepstakes to win a $5,000 build, and said why not I'm already here. A few months go by and I received an email saying that I won!!”

Omar’s Sterling Grey S197 was already a beauty on the outside with the GT500 Style Black Wheels, and the BOSS Style Front Facia. However, Omar decided to take his $5,000 and do what I’m assuming a lot of people would do. He went and put that $5,000 towards a Roush R2300 Phase 1 Supercharger Kit. Final Speed Garage out in Murrieta, CA killed it with the installation. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get his car up on a Dyno, but there’s no doubt in our minds that Omar’s GT is kicking out all 575hp that Roush claims that the kit adds.

Life after the build is just as you would expect when you add a supercharger to a healthy 5.0L. Omar spends 99% of his time mashing the pedal, listening to that supercharger whine, and hoping that there isn’t a cop lingering around the next corner. All in all, we think it’s safe to say that Omar is happy with the way that his build turned out!
