How to Install Center Console Arm Rest Pad Trim on Your 1987-1993 Mustang

Removal Procedure:

Step 1: Start by opening the center console arm rest.

Step 2: Next taking the Phillips screwdriver unscrew the screws holding the armrest pad onto the trim and Armrest bracket, There should be 4 total.

Step 3: Once removed the arm rest pad and trim should be free to pull off the bracket.

Installation Procedure:

Step 1: Take your new arm rest pad trim and align it with the arm rest pad. Now would be a good time to install if you have one or buy a new arm rest pad.

Step 2: Once aligned Screw in the two top screws about half way so the pad can move around on the trim.

Step 3: Take the pad and trim and align it with the console bracket, The bracket should slide between the Arm rest pad and the trim.

Step 4: After bottom holes are lined up take the two remaining screws and screw them in, Not to tight remember it is plastic, and finish tightening the two top screws.

Step 5: Enjoy your new Arm rest pad Trim
