      Description

      Solid Replacement Hood. Dents, dings, and damage to your vehicle’s hood affect how it looks and performs. You may lose that iconic cowl induction design that is so appealing. But more importantly, a damaged hood means your engine doesn’t have the protection it needs against the elements. Restore that protection using Sherman’s Mustang Hood. A like-for-like part, this hood directly replaces your stock hood to restore your vehicle’s intended look and protection.

      Tough Steel Construction. A hood that’s intended to protect an engine needs to be made using materials that can handle impacts. That’s what you get here with a solid steel hood that won’t get dented or damaged because of minor impacts with sticks and stones. Sherman completes the part with a protective EDP coating, which prevents corrosion. The hood arrives unpainted, which allows you to customize it as needed.

      Direct Installation. The Mustang Hood bolts directly onto your vehicle’s stock mounts using the original hood mounting hardware. No drilling, cutting, or welding is needed for a part that offers a precise fit.

      Covered For Life. Sherman backs the Mustang Hood with a limited lifetime warranty. Applying to the part purchaser, this non-transferable warranty applies in cases of material and manufacturing defects. It does not apply if the hood is damaged because of misuse, improper installation, or an accident.

      Application. The Mustang Hood installs directly onto Ford Mustangs made between 1987-1993.

      Installation Difficulty. This replacement hood installs in approximately 1-2 hours. Somebody with moderate mechanical skills should be able to fit this hood with no issues.
