V6 Chin Spoiler Instructions

Note:
Read installation instructions before starting. Chin Spoiler is Injection
Molded using TPO material. If you chose to paint this product, have your
Chin Spoiler painted by a professional automotive painting facility to ensure
the quality of your vehicle and the product. We recommend that paint-curing
temperature not exceed 150 degrees F.
Kit Components:
Chin Spoiler
10 – Push Pin Fasteners (CDC# 65003)
Tools Required:
Masking Tape
Drill
¼” Drill Bit
Attention:
Failure to follow instructions may result in loss of this product. Classic
Design Concepts is not responsible for improperly installed Chin Spoiler.
V6 Chin Spoiler Install:
1. You can install the Chin Spoiler with vehicle on the ground or raise front of vehicle using ramp, hoist, jacks, etc., SUPPORT PROPERLY.
Hint: Installation is easier if you remove the front wheels, but it is not necessary.
2. Clean the area where the Chin Spoiler will be attached.
3. Remove the 2 lower screws from wheel opening that secure the wheel well liner to the front fascia on both sides.
4. Attach both ends of Chin Spoiler at wheel openings with the factory screws removed in step #3.
5. Align Chin Spoiler correctly on fascia and tape securely to fascia to prevent Spoiler from shifting during the drilling process.
Hint: Verify that center peak of Spoiler is NOT too far up on the fascia, as this will cause gaps between Spoiler and fascia.
6. Using the Chin Spoiler fastener holes as a guide, drill the 10 fastener holes into the fascia.
CAUTION! ANGLE DRILL TOWARD REAR OF VEHICLE TO PREVENT DRILLING THROUGH THE FRONT SIDE OF SPOILER OR FASCIA AND BE CAREFUL THAT CHIN SPOILER DOES NOT SHIFT POSITION DURING THIS PROCESS!
