How to Install a Hood Decal on your 1999-2004 Mustang GT and V6

Installation Instructions:

1. Wash the hood of your car with soap and water very carefully and make sure the area where the hood decal will be going is as clean as possible.

2. Dry the area and make sure that it is as clean as possible. Now, pour more water and soap on the area where the decal will be going and leave it wet.

3. Peel back the decal from the white paper, flip to the adhesive side, and soak the adhesive side with the soapy water as well.

4. Align the decal (adhesive/soaked side touching the paint of your car) as you wish, using the hood scoop (GTs) as a guide line.

5. Because the adhesive part of the decal is soaked and the hood of the car, you can move the decal around to your desired location by just pushing it with your hands.

6. When the decal is located the proper way, use a squeegee to press out all the air bubbles and excess water from under the decal (push the water either down or out to the sides of the decal).
