How To Install MMD Side Scoops – Pre-painted on your 2005 - 2009 Mustang

1. Using the adhesion promoter, wipe the underside edges of the scoop where you plan to apply the 3M double-sided tape. 

2. Apply the 3M double-sided tape on the edges of the scoop. The shortest piece of tape goes on the bottom of the scoop, the medium length piece of tape goes on the top edge of the scoop, and the longest piece of tape goes on the last edge. Trimming will be necessary for perfect fit. 

NOTE: I found it easier to take the strip of tapes and cut them into approximately ½ inch pieces to make them easier to handle and apply. This helps with accuracy when applying. 

3. Test fit on your vehicle where the scoop will go. This will help you see where you need to apply the alcohol pad in the next step. 

4. Take your alcohol pad and wipe down the general area where the tape will be sticking. 

5. To apply the scoop to the vehicle, remove the backing from the tape and press the scoop firmly to the body panel. 

**Repeat steps 1-5 for the other side scoop.**
