The brake pads are a blend of ceramic and carbon fiber with powder-coated shims for a longer lifespan. The calipers are powder-coated, and the rotors are a high-grade cast iron and zinc-plated for strength. Mid-Range Installation. This brake kit isn't too difficult to install at home, and some owners put it on themselves, but it's still recommended to have a mechanic put these parts on if you aren't very comfortable working on brake systems.
