Hey guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a quick review of the Side View Mirror Puddle Lamp Lens Tint for puddle lamp equipped 2013 and up Mustangs. Some 2013 and up Mustangs came with a puddle lamp that's projected from the side view mirrors. Just a nice little touch that the Mustang has from factory, you get a little pony that lights up the way for you. In a typical aftermarket fashion, there is now a way to change the appearance of this puddle lamp to make for a more custom look. This is a puddle lamp lens tint, and it's gonna change the color of the pony that's projected to make for a flashier appearance. The lens tint comes in many different colors. I have blue on the table with me here, and this is what we'll be installing later, but it also comes in red, orange, purple, green and yellow, so you can match your paint color if you want, or you can go totally opposite and match an accent color, or just be bold and have an opposing color. These two teeny decals are made from 3 ml vinyl that has UV stabilizers. The stabilizers will give you up to five years of outdoor durability, which is good because these decals simply apply over the puddle lamp lenses on the exterior. Another highlight of this type of vinyl is the adhesive that's used. You really need a good adhesive for exterior vinyl pieces in order for them to last years or else they'll just peel off. These are pre-cut and they've been refined, so you can expect a very easy install and a perfect fit. One thing I'll say about this product is that it's not gonna work with aftermarket puddle light kits. It's only going to work on cars that came from the factory with puddle lamps. Another thing to consider here is that the tint actually helps to protect the lamps since it installs over them. Any damage that would be affecting the lamp would hit the tint instead of the bulbs, so that's just a little side benefit of these. As for price, there will be no change in price based off of the color. All of the tints' gonna be right around $30, and of course, it comes complete with both the driver's and the passenger's side pieces. These are very small pieces since they have to be. The puddle lamp is small, so don't expect a big production when you pull these out of the box. Wait until you get them on the car and see how they look, and how they give a touch of custom appearance before you're underwhelmed by the out-of-the-box appearance of the product. So, the install here is really pretty easy. Like I mentioned earlier, the tint simply adheres over the lens on the outside. This is such a simple install and you don't need any tools, but if I had to put a wrench rating on this, it's gonna be a one out of three on the scale. And you're looking at spending a whole five minutes here. One thing I will say, though, is that these are very small pieces. I mean, you can see them on the table right here, they're teeny. So I'd just be careful on the install because you don't want to drop them or lose them. A pair of needle nose pliers might help you handle these a little bit better.
