      Description

This flywheel is an excellent choice for most competition vehicles. It is engineered to create less inertia at launch and will accelerate quicker response through the gears.

      Premium Construction. RAM CNC-machined this Billet Aluminum Flywheel to ensure strict tolerances and superior strength. It features a ring gear of 164 teeth, an engine balance of 0 ounces, and an 8-bolt main pattern. These properties contribute to a well-tuned competition clutch system. Additionally, RAM’s intensive grinding process results in minimum runout and optimum mating surface for the clutch disc for reinforced performance.

      Friction Insert. This aluminum flywheel features a 0.25-inch steel friction insert. This insert exhibits enough mass to absorb the heat generated by slippage without distortion while ensuring maximum clutch life. This thicker insert resists warping and lifting to deliver consistent engagement across the clutch disc. Moreover, it aids in reducing heat without damaging the surface.

      Complies with SFI 1.1 Specifications. RAM ensures that this Billet Aluminum Flywheel is safe to use in high performance or racing applications. It was engineered to meet the SFI 1.1 specifications on safety and construction standards and performance capabilities.

      With a 30-Day Factory Warranty. Due to the intended use of this Billet Flywheel, RAM offers a strict factory warranty only limited to 30 days. Please check the manufacturer’s terms and conditions for full details.

      Application. This RAM Billet Aluminum Flywheel; 8 Bolt is intended for use on all 2011 to 2023 Ford Mustang GT models that is equipped with a RAM Concept 10.5 or RAM Single Disc Clutch.
