1. Begin by jacking the car up and removing the front wheels. This will make it easier to access the inner fender wells.
2. Once the vehicle is properly supported, remove the three 7mm sheet metal bolts and 5 plastic retainers (only the bottom two are shown)holding the plastic inner fender well to the vehicle. Repeat for other side and remove inner fender wells.
3. Remove the four 7mm sheet metal bolts holding the splash shield to the underside of the front bumper cover.
4. Remove the eight plastic retaining clips holding the plastic radiator cover on. Then remove the cover from the vehicle.
5. Remove the two 8mm bolts holding the top of the front bumper cover on and pull the cover over the black plastic tab shown in the photo below.
6. At this point you will be able to remove the front bumper cover. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands, but this can be done by yourself if done carefully to avoid any damage. Be sure to unplug the parking light bulb harnesses before removing the bumper. Grab the bumper right where it meets the fender and pull forward. It is held on by clips and will simply pop out when pulled on. When both sides are loose, remove the bumper cover and set it aside. If you have a GT with fog lights, be sure to unplug them before completely removing the bumper cover.
7. Now you will have access to the two lower bolts holding the headlight assembly in place. Using a 10mm socket, remove the two lower bolts and one upper bolts on each side and remove the factory headlight assemblies.
8. Now you are ready to wire your new headlights. You will be wiring them into the large parking light harness with three wires; black, purple, and yellow. Using the supplied scotch lock connectors, wire the red wire from the new headlight to the purple wire from the parking light and the black wire from the new headlight to the black wire from the parking light as shown.
9. Make sure to test all light operation before beginning re-assembly of the front bumper cover. When everything is tested and working properly, reverse Steps 1-7 to complete the installation.
