1. The first step is to remove the 10 bolts that secure the cover to the housing. Then gently insert a flat-head screwdriver between the cover and the housing and pry the cover off allowing the gear oil to drain.
2. Remove the stock cap bolts and install the new cap bolts girdle and spacers.
3. With the cap girdles spacers and new fasteners in place torque cap bolts to 75lb-ft (factory specification).
4. Bolt cover back in place. Be sure to put a light bead of silicone around the cover.
5. Once installation is complete fill the rear end with 75W90-gear oil and check for leaks.
