How to Install a Roush Extreme Performance Catback System on your 2005-2009 Mustang GT and GT500

SECTION A - DISASSEMBLY

The following section will guide you through the disassembly of the stock components. 1. Loosen the clamps which hold the factory mufflers in place.

2. Loosen both ends of the doubled-sided clamps, which hold the midpipes in place. These clamps are located after the H-pipe.

5. Push the midpipes all the way forward and make sure they have clearance to the gas tank shield, drive axle, and other underbody components. Torque both ends of the double-sided clamps to 35 ft-lbs.

6. Slide the band clamps into position over the tailpipe and midpipe connection points. Make sure the clamp band covers the seal slot, as shown below. This will prevent exhaust leaks.
