Installation Instructions

1. Set emergency brake.

2. Place the wheel chock behind the rear tires.

3. Break loose lug nuts on the wheel that will be worked on.

4. Raise the front of the car and rest it on jack stands so the wheels hang and are off the ground.

5. Remove the wheel on the side of the car that will be worked on.

6. Turn the steering wheel away from the side you are working on ... ie: Driver wheel turned all the way to the right and the passenger wheel turned all the way to the left, or, brake calipers closest to you.

7. Remove the old sway bar upper and lower end link nut with the 18mm deep well socket while holding the stud in place with an 8mm wrench.

8. Remove the end link and away from the bracket to remove it. You may need to slightly adjust the floor jack to relieve any tension on the sway bar end link.

9. Measure the RTR end link length to match with the old end link length and tighten the bolt to lock in place. *OPTIONAL ON ADJUSTABLE END LINKS ONLY* A. Increase or decrease the length as desired. B. Use the lock nut to ‘Lock’ the length in place leaving a minimum 10mm of link thread. C. Verify both links are the same length.

10. Put the washer on the stud and insert the new end link into the upper and lower brackets.

11. Thread both, the upper and lower nuts, onto the end link studs.

12. Use the 14mm open end wrench to hold the inner nut in place.

13. Use the 19mm to tighten the supplied nut to 85 ft/lbs with a torque wrench.

14. Reinstall the Mustang wheel, lower the car, retighten lug nuts … Take it slow until your used to the handling and have fun.
