Description
Solid Construction. The Spec P-Trim Super Twin Clutch - 6 Bolt will prove advantageous for you and your Mustang in a number of difference applications. The super twin series from Spec is carefully crafted from quality aircraft grade aluminum and high carbon billet steel. The parts are then milled to an industry-leading 0.001 inch for perfect balance and actuation. Friction is made possible by the dampened, full-faced carbon graphite discs for unsurpassed bite and quick shifts.
Optimal Benefits. Thanks to the all-billet construction, these units are both smooth and quiet. This kit features a torque capacity of 1395 lb-ft and is perfect for cars with high horsepower and torque figures. Spec's P-Trim Super Twin Clutch offers stock-like drivability with a long lifespan and seamless bolt-in install. In addition, this kit is virtually maintenance-free and can be completely rebuildable by Spec or the user.
Race Ready. This twin disc kit is suitable for drifting, drag racing, street driving, time attack and rally racing. It can be used only on Mustang GT models that have a 6-bolt crank.
Expert Level Install. This install has a high level of difficulty and should be installed by a professonal or individual with mechanical expertise. Dropping the transmission is usually necessary for these installs, and may prove difficult for some. Once you get the stock setup off your car, this new one should slip right on using the alignment tool that's included. The entire installation is estimated to take approximately 4 hours in all.
Limited Warranty. Spec provides a limited warranty on its entire lineup, which protects against any defects in workmanship or material for up to 120 days after purchase. Some exclusions may apply. Please visit the manufacturer's official website for full warranty details and exceptions.
