      Description

      New Edge Cobra Inspired Styling. Taking inspiration from the hood found on early New Edge Cobra Mustangs, this SpeedForm Cobra Style Heat Extractor Hood will add a muscular appearance to the exterior of your 2005-2009 GT or V6 Mustang. Complete with fully functional heat extractor vents, this SpeedForm Fiberglass Hood will improve air flow in addition to improving the styling of your S197 Mustang.

      Functional Heat Extractor. With dual heat extractor vents located in the front, this SpeedForm Cobra Style Hood not only looks aggressive, but will also help keep under hood temperatures in check. The rearward facing vents will allow hot air to freely escape from the engine bay to improve your Pony's performance.

      Quality Construction. SpeedForm Hoods are made from an extremely strong, lightweight fiberglass material that requires little to no prep work for installation. Featuring a smooth, gel coat finish on both the top and underside of the hood allows you the option to paint both sides for a fully customized look. Mesh inserts are also included.

      Bolt-On Installation. Utilizing the OEM latches and hinges on your Mustang, this Hood is a direct fit replacement for the factory hood. Shipping unpainted, this SpeedForm hood will require prep, primer and paint prior to installation, completed by you or your local shop. Please check locally for pricing estimates.

      Application. This SpeedForm Cobra Style Hood with Heat Extractors will bolt up in the stock location on 2005-2009 V6 or GT Mustang models for outstanding, show winning style. Not compatible with Shelby GT500 models.

      Technical Notes. AmericanMuscle recommends professional installation of all body parts. We also recommended test fitting this product before it has been painted.
