Better than expected for the cheaper of the 2 fold-down units
Very impressed with the quality for the price. Installation was quite easy, though I would heed the recommendation to use ramps - I had a right angle drill and working space was still tight. I questioned the strength of the expansion bolt hardware, but after a year, they're still holding, but it is hard to tell how tight to tighten them - they're only going into the plastic bumper cover. It's a universal product, so it's up to the installer assure it is centered and square with the car. The only slight negative is that the holder doesn't allow for adding a decorative license plate frame. It does reduce grown clearance over parking space bumpers slightly.

Hide away plate frame
Wanted something better than a plate frame with holes in the front facia. This hide away plate frame works great. Very happy with the finished installation. Don't leave the plate exposed when going through the car wash.

Functional.
Just moved to the state of Virginia from Florida. VA requires a front license plate, and I really didn't want to drill holes in the front of my bumper, so I purchased this kit. It functions perfectly thus far, and it looks good on the vehicle as much as a license plate can look good on a vehicle. My only negative comments are that the mounting hardware with the kit doesn't really do the trick. I had to dig into my spare nuts and bolts bin to find something that worked well.

Made it work
The product is well made with various options for installation. On my 22 mustang GT installation in the only game me enough room to attached the bolts in the back section. Installation to the side allowed me use a bolt in the panel for installation along with the included hardware. Using the self tapping screw and following up with pilot holes was the best method for installation in my case.
