Step 1:
A. Begin by removing the 10mm bolt that holds the factory air box to the fender.
B. Remove the Intake Air Sensor plug and wiring push clip that holds the harness to the air box.
C. Loosen the clamps on the turbo and the air box side of the intake tube.
D. Remove the bypass valve and PCV hoses.
Remove Intake tube and air box.
Step 2:
Locate and loosen the hose clamp securing the factory piping to the compressor housing.
Step 3:
Locate the bypass valve and PCV valve. Remove the factory hoses and unplug the bypass valve plug.
Step 4:
Loosen the hose clamp securing the factory hot side piping to the intercooler. ** Note: Removal of the engine splash shield will allow easier access.
Step 5:
Remove the factory bypass valve from the factory pipe. Re-install the bypass valve on the new aluminum pipe. Loosely install the silicone couplers. They will need to be adjusted once installed.
Step 6:
Install the SR intercooler pipe. Re-attach the bypass valve plug and hoses.
Step 7:
Loosen the factory hose clamp that secures the cold side piping to the throttle body.
Step 8:
Loosen the factory hose clamp that secures the cold side piping to the intercooler.
Step 9:
Loosely install the supplied silicone couplers and clamps to the cold side piping.
Step 10:
Once the pipe is installed rotate the pipe/couplers to achieve the best fit. Ensure the piping isn't making contact with any other components.
