How To Install a SR Performance Throttle Body Spacer on Your 2011-2015 Mustang GT

Included:

• Spacer
• Gasket
• (4) Bolts
• (4) Flat Washers

Installation Guide Disclaimer: This was installed on a 2015 GT (non-Performance Pack). V6, PP, and earlier models may differ.

Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the engine cover. Simply pull up on the front and sides. There are no tools needed as it is fastened by some quick connects.

2. Remove the air tube on the left side of the air intake.

To do this, simply rotate the clip until you can see the bottom clips. Insert a flathead screw driver into both sides prying apart, then work the clip out.

3. Loosen the screen on the air intake and separate from the throttle body. You can move it out of the way enough to work, so no need to completely remove it.

4. Use the 8mm socket to remove the factory bolts securing the throttle body to the intake. Remove the throttle body and set it to the side. Be careful not to damage the throttle body or drop anything into the intake!

5. Place the gasket between the throttle body and spacer

6. Carefully slide in the bolts (w/ washers installed) to hold it together, and fit it against the intake. Hand tighten the bolts to ensure you don’t strip the intake manifold.

7. Use the 10mm socket to tighten all bolts to factory specs.

8. Reinstall the air intake to the throttle body and the air tube to the air intake.

9. Reinstall the engine cover.
