How to Install SR Performance Underdrive Pulleys - Polished on your Mustang

Included Parts :

1 crank shaft pulley
1 Alternator pulley

Parts to buy :

1 strap 96 inch 6 rang

Removal procedure :

1) Start by slacking the 4 bolt on the crank shaft with a 13mm socket. Don't remove it yet.​

2) Remove the strap with a 18mm socket. Just bend the strap bender up

3) Remove the 4 bolt from the crank shaft and remove the crank shaft pulley.

4) Disconnect the battery and remove the alternator pulley with the 15/16 Socket. You can roll your old strap over the pulley like the picture below.

Installation instructions

1) Clean with brake cleaner your alternator and your crank shaft balancer​

2) Install your new crank shaft pulley with 13mm socket and your new alternator pulley with 15/16 socket. You can add oil over the bolt for a easier installation.

3) Install your new 96 Inch long strap (not included) folowing this drawing.

4) Enjoy your new pulley
