1. Carefully raise the rear of the car by placing the floor jack at the rear lift location. Use jack stand to protect the car.
2. Place the drain pan under the differential.
3. Unscrew differential cover using 10 mm socket/wrench. Remember to do not take out the top screw (1). The last one will help You to hold the differential cover during draining the gear oil.
4. During the oil drain remove Your rear wheels.
5. Using 13 mm socket/wrench unscrew the caliper. Take out the brake pads (mark the position of each pad internal/external).
6. Using 15 mm socket/wrench unscrew the caliper bracket. Take out the brake disc.
7. If all gear oil drain out, unscrew the last top screw and remove the differential cover.
8. Put gear shift on neutral and rotate the gear till You see the cross pin (1) and cross pin bolt (2).
9. Put the shift on 1st gear or on parking mode. Unscrew the cross pin bolt using 8 mm socket/wrench. Push from the inside the cross pin.
10. Put gear shift on neutral and rotate. Push in the left and right axle to the inside of the differential till You will see the lock C-clip (1). The easiest way to remove the lock C-clip is to use magnet. Now axles are free.
11. Take out the axles and put new SR Performance 8.8 axles.
12. Install the lock C-clip, cross pin and cross pin bolt like on point 8. 9. Use thread-lock glue to screw the cross pin
bolt.
13. Install the differential cover using 25 ft. ibs. in the sequence:
12. Install brake disc, caliper bracket and caliper like on point 5. and 6.
13. Unscrew the fill plug which is located in the front of the differential, near the driveshaft.
14. Fill the differential with new specified gear oil until the fluid flows from factory fill hole.
15. Screw the fill plug.
16. It's end, take down the car from jack stand.
