VOLANTE HUB ADAPTER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1)    Removal of Old Wheel: Straighten the front wheels to point straight. Remove horn button. Remove wire connection horn button. Remove center shaft nut. Use steering wheel puller if necessary, most wheels can be removed by moving side to side for a couple of minutes. Leave the nut loosely in place to prevent loosened wheel from hitting you.
2)    Install Column Adapter and Steering Wheel: If your adapter has a metal ring on the bottom of it, be sure to lubricate this with some all purpose automotive grease. Align adapter hub so as to have a mounting hole positioned straight up. If you have cancel cam or pins to cancel the turn signal, check alignment and clearance. If there is a clicking noise when rotating the hub without the turn signals on then the pins need to be bent slightly toward the outside. Tighten the nut 20-25 ft/lbs of torque. Be careful not to scratch wheel with screwdriver. Loosely attach all screws before you tighten any of them.
3)    Install Horn Button: Attach horn button wires. Push side spring tabs into hub before pushing down on button.
