Durable Construction. Crafted from a hardy aluminum construction, this driveshaft features billet aluminum endcaps with 300M chromoly spline plugs. Showcasing an impressive 3.50-inch diameter, this beefy design highlights a high-speed precision ground CV joint with chromoly internals. As a result, this stellar design ensures you’ll get twice the range as earlier designs.
Installation. This driveshaft can be installed with common garage tools. The install time is estimated at 2 hours for this medium installation. In addition, the emergency brake cable bracket may need to be relocated to allow for more room.
Built to Perform. Designed to eliminate the adapter plate at the rear end, this sheds extra weight resulting in more power. Engineered to increase your power holding ability, you’ll get superior drivetrain response.
Application. The Driveshaft Shop 3.50-Inch Aluminum 1-Piece Driveshaft is built to accommodate all 2015-2017 V6 Ford Mustang models with automatic transmission.
Please Note Failure to follow the items below may damage the driveshaft and void the warranty.
- WARNING: Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit MUST BE INSTALLED on the vehicle PRIOR to installing a Driveshaft Shop 1-Piece Driveshaft. Any damage to the driveshaft (or any subsequent damage) caused by failing to properly reinforce the rear cradle and limit movement will VOID ANY AND ALL WARRANTY provided by The Driveshaft Shop
