      Description

Compare UPR's Chrome Moly control arms to other brands and see why UPR is SIMPLY THE BEST! Chrome Moly construction means the lightest and strongest control arms on the market. Less unsprung weight means quicker response and handling. Solid Aluminum Bushings on both ends eliminates the soft stock bushings and eliminates wheel hop. Lifetime guarantee-unparalleled in the industry! UPR's Pro Series rear control arms make your car perform better than new by improving traction and handling. Best of all-UPR Pro Series rear control arms are affordable-Truly the Best for Less!

Chrome Moly vs Mild Steel: There is a common misconception that 4130 Chrome Moly is "brittle" or will "shatter" when stressed or bent this is false. Chrome Moly is nearly twice as strong as mild steel but can be bent without shattering it otherwise how else would we make K-members out of it? If you were to take a piece of 1.50" diameter x .083" wall Chrome Moly tubing and a piece of 1.50" diameter x .120" wall Mild Steel and bent both with a tight radius, beyond a 90* angle, the Chrome Moly being a harder metal would crack before the mild steel would do the same thing. Why would we compare a thinner wall Chrome Moly to a thicker wall Mild Steel? Chrome Moly has a higher tensile strength and thus why you can use a thinner wall tubing vs the mild steel. Chrome Moly by volume is no lighter than Mild Steel but since it is stronger you can use a thinner wall tubing and be just as strong with less weight.

Upgrade to Extreme Series hardware for higher horsepower applications. Featuring Stainless Steel sleeves and larger 1/2" Grade 8 hardware. Requires drilling out the bolt holes on your lower control arm brackets on the rear axle and on the body side to 1/2". 12pc SS sleeves and 4pc hardware.
