      Description

      Better than Factory. If you're looking for an upgrade axle for your Mustang the USA Standard 8.8 Axle - 31 Spline 5 Lug is the right part for you. Not only is this axle made of a stronger alloy, it beats the factory part in pricing as well.

      Solid Construction. This Yukon axle is manufactured from 1541H high strength steel alloy that exceeds the strength of the factory axle. It is engineered to fit with your Mustang's 31 spline differential with a 5 lug bolt pattern to fit your factory wheels. Yukon Gear uses the latest in heat treating technology to strengthen their replacement axles so it can withstand the demands of modified Mustangs.

      Professional Installation Recommended. Special tools may be required for the removal and installation of the axle. Installation by an experience mechanic is highly recommended.

      10 Year Warranty. Yukon Gear & Axle guarantees their axles to be free of defects for 10 years from the date of purchase. Please consult the Yukon Gear & Axle website for more details.

      Application. The USA Standard 8.8 Axle - 31 Spline 5 Lug fits 1999-2004 Ford Mustang GT and Mach 1 models that have upgraded to a 8.8" 31-spline LSD or Spool only.

      Application Note: 1979-2004 V8 Mustangs came factory equipped with 28 spline axles, except for 2003-2004 SVT Cobras which were 31 spline.
