      Description

      Reduce Belt Slip. With the Vortech 8-Rib Smooth Idler Pulley, you can significantly reduce belt-slip across your Camaro's centrifugal supercharger drive system. Reducing belt slip is one of the most effective means of increasing your supercharger's efficiency for reliable performance and high peak-power numbers. 

      Smooth Design. This pulley does not feature ribs/grooves along the outer contact surface for use on applications in which the back/smooth side of the supercharger drive belt makes contact with the idler pulley. 

      Composite Construction. Vortech's smooth idler pulleys are manufactured from durable composite plastic for a product that's as lightweight as it is strong. The low weight of this pulley reduces drag across the drive belt compared to weighted alloy pulleys, significantly increasing efficiency.

      Dual-Bearings. Unlike most idler pulleys equipped with a single, central bearing, Vortech's 8-rib idler pulley features two bearings to evenly distribute load across the wider-than-factory pulley, allowing for long, reliable service life. 

      Available In Various Configurations. Vortech idler pulleys are available in various configurations for use in your application, including varying diameters and widths to accommodate wide supercharger drive belts. This specific pulley features a 3-inch diameter, smooth outer contact surface, and width applicable to 8-rib drive belts. 

      Warranty. A 3-year warranty protects this product from manufacturing defects.
