Description
Beast Mode. The stock 2010-2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS came from the factory with an impressive 426 horsepower and 420 lb/ft of torque (at the flywheel). However, after installing a Vortech V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit with Charge Cooler you will see horsepower numbers up to 1,200 or more, depending on fuel upgrades and tuning.
Tuner Kit. The Vortech V-7 Supercharger comes with a V-7 YSi-Trim Gear Driven Centrifugal Supercharger, Aluminum Air-to-Air Charge Cooler, Maxflow™ Race Bypass Valve, 10 Rib Drive, SFI-approved Race-spec Crank Damper, mandrel bent aluminum tubing and all the required parts and hardware needed to upgrade your mild manner vehicle into a wild snarling beast. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation. Does not include fuel system upgrades (injectors) or programmer.
V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger. The V-7 Series combines the advanced technology and race-proven performance. The V-7 is designed for vehicles with highly modified engines and extreme CFM/boost demands. All units feature Vortech's exclusive D-port volute for improved efficiency and require the use of a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger to meet discharge flow demands. The heavy duty (H/D) configuration includes high speed, ceramic hybrid ball bearings, ideal for race applications, and is compatible with cog pulley/Gilmer style drive setups.
Application. This Vortech V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit with Charge Cooler; Polished Finish is designed to fit 2010-2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS models.
Technical Note. The included Maxflow Race Bypass Valve is adequate for the pulley/boost output this system produces straight out of the box, however a Maxflow BV57 Valve is recommended for those looking to change pulleys to increase the boost beyond the included combination.
